THE LAND DOWN UNDER

"You will never know, until you go"

PLACES TO VISIT IN AUSSIE - PART V

Part I (Victoria)
Part II (Victoria & Northern Territory)
Part III (Cairns & Surrounds)
Part IV (Atherton Tablelands & Wallaman Falls)

Airlie Beach is a really pretty place with nice beaches and many backpackers. Airlie Beach is a popular place
for backpackers and every night is a party. You can also find a lovely pool area, where you can swim for free.

We swam here a lot and it was really good for my atopic skin

Hervey Bay and Fraser Island. We went to Hervey Bay, but unfortunately not to Fraser Island, because
of our van. Fraser Islands seems to be a nice place and if you've been there - please share your opinion! :)

My love

Noosa Heads. Wow! This place is amazing and a true paradise. I mean, look at it. People actually live
like this here. When we were here it was sunny every day and we spent our days at the beach.

Sunshine Coast. We liked Sunshine Coast because of the relaxing atmosphere and the nice people.
We spent a couple of days around Coolum Beach and one night there was a firework just by the beach.

A really beautiful waterfall

Christmas was incoming and it was time to prim the house!

Atherton Tablelands contains rainforests, waterfalls and national parks. It's also classified as one of Australia's important bird areas. We visited three waterfalls and it was amazing! Actually we got to know about these places through a calender. I really recommend to visit these places, because they're wonderful!

Millaa Millaa Falls was my favorite waterfall. It was so beautiful!
Some people also swimmed there, but we didn't dare.

Zillie Falls

Ellinjaa Falls was pretty amazing. Here we actually stand in the "waterfall river" :)

Wallaman Falls is located in the UNESCO World Heritage in the northern region of Queensland (but not in the Atherton Tablelands). It's really amazing to stand there and see it and you can't believe that the waterfall has a main drop of 268 metres, which makes it the country's tallest single-drop waterfall. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is 20 metres deep.

It's about 200 metres to the waterfall from here.
